These designs were built using a realistic approach to the animal likeness. I combined the animals with skin patterns, textures and often primitive or tribal designs which were inspired by the area where the animal came from. Skin designs which are currently quite active in the market place were in the market place about 10 years ago. The fashion cycle seems to run on a 10 year basis, give or take a little. Places and designs come into the market when societies are focused on an area or when something of great interest brings attention to that subject or country or event.
