SHOP DU JOUR
This shop was created to sell cards, gifts and decorative accessories and apparel which all have my images from my Everyday Collections. I have garden and insect designs; rabbit images; Mary Parker Teddy Bears; and images from my La Femme Collection. There is a wide variance in style and mediums. The original paintings will be available in EDITH’S GALLERY DU JOUR.
The rustic lodge images which I have in my standing portfolio are available on a wide variety of gifts and accessories and apparel. These images were all inspired by the visits to the Great Smoky Mountains during the 16 years I was licensing work and attending SURTEX in New York. The paintings and illustrations from this portfolio of rustic lodge are available for sale in my GALLERY DU JOUR.
Trends develop in the world of home fashion, table top and apparel mainly by where and what the world is focused upon. I suppose you might say that it comes into focus by world events and the news of those events. I created this collection of images with focus on Africa, Australia, South America and the San Blas Islands. I have adapted the images for a variety of gifts, accessories and apparel products which I have configured in this shop. The original paintings/illustrations are available in my Gallery Du Jour.
Yes, I love Halloween and all the illustrations here are from my Mary Parker Halloween Portfolio. I used the pseudonym Mary Parker to build a variety of images which were not like the work I did under the name Edith. It allowed me a great deal of freedom. Because of the time of year that the SURTEX was on and because of the manner in which I operated, my Christmas portfolio was the largest of all my Collections. I created 99% of this grouping under the pseudonym Mary Parker and offered the material for licensing as The Mary Parker Christmas Portfolio.
